Athletics and Extracurriculars
Martinsville High School provides students with a wide variety of athletic opportunities, and we invite you to join the Boosters in support of these programs.
Our mission is to enable students to enhance their academic experience and enrich their time in high school by participating in a variety of sports and teaching them life lessons through athletics. Through participation, donations, and fundraising, we support the MHS athletics department and our student athletes. This support includes supplementing the department's budget and providing uniforms, equipment, and other student and program needs that are not covered by district funding.
We are a new club and have some ground to make up. We greatly appreciate any donations of your time and/or money, as doing so will help us meet the needs of our athletic programs.
Available funding is distributed in accordance with the following priorities:
Safety: promotes increased safety of MHS student athletes
Equity: provides support across all athletic programs
Need: fills a critical infrastructure, programmatic, or financial need that is not adequately covered by other funding sources
Opportunity: benefits the greatest number of MHS student athletes
Impact to Competition: necessary for competition or improves the MHS competitive advantage
To volunteer, provide a donation, or provide in-kind support please contact the MHS Athletic Boosters at martinsvilleabc@gmail.com
